Counselling & Psychotherapy
I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in advanced clinical training. I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a calm and non-judgemental environment in which to explore, support and help you with any emotional difficulties you may be facing.
I work one-to-one with adults and young people age 16+
Some issues you might seek help for: bereavement, family conflict, relationships, self esteem, stress, health related stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, shame, neurodiversity difficulties, attachment issues, childhood issues, life changes. Counselling can help you to cope better with life’s challenges, improve your mental & emotional health and bring healing to emotional wounds.
How I work:
I use Transactional Analysis* as my main approach and look to work together in a way that is individual and beneficial to you. This may be short or long-term work, looking at present situations or engaging in deeper work relating to the past. All with a focus of moving forwards in the way you would like to.
* Transactional Analysis is an easily accessible social psychology model that looks at how we relate to one another. It considers how our personality guides our communication and how we might enable change from any unhelpful patterns of relating.
Face to face sessions are held on Monday and Tuesdays in South Liverpool. I also offer telephone and online sessions.
Please use the email address or phone number on the contact page, to get in touch, and we can discuss what you need and what I can offer. I am happy for initial contact to be via email or text if that is more comfortable for you.
If we decide we are able to work together, sessions will be arranged. The cost of each session is £40
I am a Trainee member of UKATA and UKCP and an EATA endorsed Contractual Trainee Transactional Analyst.
I adhere to UKCP ethical codes and professional standards.
All of my work is covered with ongoing training, supervision and CPD.
